Safe2Site Shortlisted in the New Civil Engineer TechFest Awards 2019

We were delighted to learn that our entry, Safe2Site has been shortlisted in the Best Use of Technology: Health, Safety & Wellbeing Award category in the New Civil Engineer TechFest Awards 2019.

The awards recognise and reward those projects, teams and companies doing most to harness technologies that drive the industry forward.

Best Use of Technology: Health, Safety & Wellbeing Award recognises teams using technology on site or behind the scenes to boost the health, safety & wellbeing of the global civil engineering industry through better design and delivery.

Safe2Site is unique in that it uses modern e-learning methods and remote invigilation to enable people to achieve the required level of health and safety training needed to obtain a CSCS green card, but without having to take time off work to complete the course or its final assessment.  This is minimum requirement for many people working in a construction environment and Safe2Site with its innovative use of reach, assurance and technology has made obtaining this card an easier, more secure and more flexible process for individuals and/or their employees.

We are up against some tough competition:

  • Balfour Beatty VINCI
  • Biosite
  • BSCU
  • Comau
  • Jacobs
  • Laing O’Rourke
  • Munnelly Group
  • Network Rail with Selectequip
  • Vector Equilibrium

Judging will take place on the day of the TechFest Gala Dinner event in London on 26th Sep. We are keeping everything crossed until then and will let you know the outcome.
