Safe2Site saves you time and money, it’s the most flexible and convenient route to get a CSCS green card, but don’t just take our word for it

We have put several of our guys through Safe2Site because it’s easiest way for them to get the training they need for their green card.  We send them their log in and they complete the course on their smart phones in their own time and then we bring them on site for their final test (in case they do not have a laptop with a webcam). It’s so much more simple and cost effective than having to bring them off site for a full days training and so far everyone passed. Elizabeth Finlay

The whole experience was great for me as a teacher and for my student who passed with 94%. The on line invigilation worked brilliantly and is especially good for our students many of whom suffer from anxiety when it comes to having to go to a centre for exams.  The only slight point I noted was that the suggested time for each learning module was very tight and to thoroughly go through and absorb the information needed more time than suggested. However a brilliant, well developed, constructed and delivered facility for which I am very grateful.   Many thanks for you help and communication throughout the process. I needed to get my green card quickly and I’d already passed my CITB test, the Safe2Site online course was the quickest and cheapest way to do it.  The course was easy to complete and checked my understanding as I went along, I passed my test with flying colours then downloaded my certificate and rang CSCS to get my card  – really straightforward, thank you! Who needs Safe2Site?
Safe2Site is for everyone working on a construction site who wants to apply for a CSCS Green Labourer Card.   To apply for the CSCS Green Labourer Card you need to pass the CITB Operatives Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) Test AND you need a Health and Safety qualification to show that you are qualified to hold the card – Safe2Site is recognised by CSCS as an approved course.. Safe2Site is designed for site workers to help understand the potential hazards faced when working on a construction site.  Providing details of health and safety, welfare and environmental issues, identifying individual responsibilities for looking after themselves and others, what the employer’s duties are and what should be done if they think anyone’s health and safety is being put at risk. The online learning provides flexible, interactive training and the online assessment makes an ideal preparation for the HS&E test.

How does online learning work?
Safe2Site has been designed to be completed in small bite-sized chunks and the content is mobile-friendly, so once you have bought the course, you can learn it at your own pace.  Complete it on a computer/laptop at home or at work or on your mobile phone or tablet while you’re on the move.  As long as you have internet connection, you can do a module, then save what you’ve done so you can pick up where you left off when you’re ready.   Our material is interactive, informative and engaging – delivering consistent, high quality content.  Also there is mock testing throughout to check for understanding and progression.  Once you have successfully completed the learning, you will be ready to take your Safe2Site online assessment/exam and will be directed to TestReach, our remote invigilator partners.
How does online assessment work?
To ensure the integrity of our online assessment/exam we use remote invigilation, for this we have partnered with an organisation called TestReach.   When you gain access to Safe2Site you will be prompted to book your exam, you can book a date and time convenient for you 3 working days from then.  When you are ready to book you’re exam, you need to be logged into the computer/laptop you are going to use – you cannot use a mobile or tablet for this part of the course. Simply click on the link and follow the instructions.  After you have selected your exam time, slots are available between 09.00 – 17.00, Monday to Friday, you’ll then do some connectivity checks to make sure everything on your laptop is compatible and that you’ll be able to do the exam. On the day of your exam, click the link again, you’ll be connected with an invigilator who will communicate with you via your webcam/speaker/microphone, explaining how remote exam will proceed.  You are told the outcome of the exam immediately after you have finished.  If you are successful you can then download your Safe2Site certificate, which is valid for 5 years.
